DesignPhiladelphia celebrates a Decade of Design with works from 20 inspiring Philadelphia Artists

[tribulant_slideshow gallery_id=”1″]

DesignPhiladelphia turns 10 this year and that warranted something special.  In celebration of a decade of design, 20 inspiring Philadelphia based artists were asked to redesign a unadorned IKEA mirror in a way that reflects their unique style.

The mirrors are being auctioned off in support of educational programming for the Philadelphia Center for Architecture.  Online bidding (Paddle 8) will close October 7th. If you miss that, your last chance (proxy bidding by phone) to snap up a one-of-a-kind piece will be on October 8th at the PopUp Place Kick Off Benefit hosted by Bluecadet.

Take a glimpse into the thought that went behind each redesign with our slideshow, featuring all 20 mirrors – which one will resonates with you?
